Well, here's a very original post: Silvan the captain (He calls himself the Admiral) of the Lichenstein Princly Navy (No, not a real Navy...just a Dragon Boat Team...but don't tell them that) got married to Mei his drummer girl on Dec. 2nd 2006. Now, Silvan being the dedicated paddler that he is decided that he wanted to meet up with the wedding party by getting paddled to Repulse Bay by 50 man Dragon Boat. The Navy was a bit short on seamen (yeah, yeah) so they asked SMUGs to lend a few able bodies for the day. Find me in this picture for 50 points. In short we paddled the big tub for about an hour before heading in for our Fosters reward. It was great seeing Silvan having such a great time out playing in the boat while the rest of his friends and family were waiting on the beach. Classic. November 11th marked the 2nd annual Mid-Autumn Cup. This year I got drafted by Gavin (Mrs.) Robinson and so was added to TEAM IRONHEAD. Here's a quick run down of the tournament: we basically got smacked in the round robin, but did manage to play a bit better every game. Keeping with that trend we managed to win in the quarter and seim finals only to lose to Jeff Wall's THE USUAL SUSPECTS in the final. Wait a sec...didn't my team lose to Wall and the Suspects last year? Damn.... if I didn't play with him on the NORDIQUES I'd really have to do something about that guy.
