How is it that AIS went from being virtually unknown in HK social circles to being the envy of all in only one year? Ahh...I got it. I'm helping to run the social committee this year along with Sarah, Sandra and Simon. Commonly known as Matt triple S! AKA- Matt 3XS. Our opening dinner (did anyone actually eat?) certainly set the pace for the year. Highlights include Judy devastating me in the 1st annual Run-Down-the-Up-Escalator-Race, the secondary school tequila gargling contest, Simon's "Robot Dancing" demonstration at Mes Ami and... well the Scottish and Australians just being themselves. This year's birthday was one of the best of recent years thanks to my fantastic Hong Kong friends who braved the neverending rain to celebrate with me at Baby B. Hilights included me nearly burning my hat off with a Flaming Lamborgini, the best ice-cream cake ever, Trina sending herself to jet-lag hell by sleeping all day so that she could stay out all night and of course, Matt tumbling off a horse in Lan Kwai Fong only to splatter himself all over the sidewalk. Ouch! I think just about everyone who was in HK made an appearance. It was a great surprise to see that so many guys from Hockey and Dragon Boating made it. Cheers boys! Thanks to everyone who made it out! I really appreciate it. It was great to see all of you again. What a great time! I'm so glad that I don't have to do it again for a year though. Woot!
